Happy national scrapbook day!!

New album :)

Not that I needed to start another album, but I find it really refreshing to take a class and renew all the creative energy I have had stored up for a while. Taking a class is a great way to get out of the "scrap block" many of us face when the enthusiasm for a creative project fades.. 

I took the travel album class at CKC Tacoma this weekend and my scrapping excitement has definitely been renewed! I of course start the project loving the look and then all too easily find myself straying from the original design and adding my own flare- but I think that is the beauty of a scrap class- 1 project with endless possibilities.

CKC Tacoma!!

Had a great time! Took a fun album class.

Saw some awesome products; many new stamps, die cuts, and fun tools. Even got to see Lisa Bearnson... Sort of like old times..

I definitely have missed the convention atmosphere! So glad I was able to attend this year! 

A designer's eye... I just acquired a copy!!!

Ok so I'm quite late in realizing I needed this - published 8 years ago!! Much needed addition to my library! Can't believe I didn't have this one  but now I can't wait to dive in! 

Frappy Hour tomorrow!!

Ok it's Monday tomorrow... I know i shouldnt be nearly as excited, but i couldn't miss an opportunity to post something good happening (at least in my opinion ;) 

Starbucks has been offering "Happy Mondays" with discounts on Mondays for Gold Card Members, but Frappy Hour is ofcourse my favorite discount of all :)

One good thing about colder weather...

There is more time and desire to work on projects indoors!! Woohoo I hear my copics calling!! 

Grab a sweater and get crafting :)
